Fiction Craft Class: Writing Through the Body

Join us at Womb House Books for our first ever craft class! This workshop based class will focus on fiction with Hélène Cixous's concept of writing through the body as its directive core. 

This class will be facilitated by Womb House Books founder Jessica Ferri and will take place at our brick and mortar location in Temescal Alley, Oakland. 

Meeting dates: 9/1, 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29 and 10/13, from 7pm - 8:30pm.

Jessica Ferri is a writer, critic, and photographer. Her criticism has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, The Atlantic, Lit Hub, The Daily Beast, and more. She is the author of Silent Cities New York, Silent Cities San Francisco, Buried San Francisco, and Buried Hollywoodland. She has taught creative writing at Mount Tamalpais College, Antioch University, and the Mendocino Writers Conference. She is the founder of Womb House Books and the creator of Book Domme.
